Hosted Music Videos This page should be pretty self-explanatory, also. Just right click on the download link and wait for a while. These videos are made by Machine (Carlos Corral) of MindWarp Entertainment. He needed some space and some hosting, and I volunteered to help him out. All of the descriptions are from his site. He makes some damn good videos, so check out these, and the rest can be found at http://www.mindwarpet.com.
Armitage III & Ghost in the Shell - Nine Inch Nails - Wish Directed by: Carlos Corral Armitage III and Major Kusanagi are probably two of the best action females to date in the anime society. After viewing both Movies several times, I somewhat saw what was a rather familiar relationship between the two women. The only thing Naomi Armitage ever wanted was to be accepted for what she is. Even though she isn't fully human, she has the heart and soul of a human. She wishes she could be something real. She wishes she could be somethign true. As herself, Major Kusanagi knows that she is not something real. What she desires can only be answered by the Puppet Master. She wishes she could be complete. She wishes she could be something real, something true.
Record of Lodoss War - Gladiator Parody Directed by: Milan Villarreal Gladiator Trailer is my 4th video. I wanted to do something more upbeat than my other videos so I decided to make a parody. I love Gladiator the movie and I love Lodoss War. They seemed to go hand in hand for a trailer. There are a couple of scenes that seem choppy, but that’s how I intended them, I liked the effect. I chose Parn as Maximus for the video because he is the main character, and I chose Aushrum as the Emperor because he is the main villain. All the other characters were filled in by how their scenes best fit to the sound. I hope every one enjoys this video, especially the Lodoss War and Gladiator fans!
FLCL - System of a Down - Needles Directed by: Carlos Corral FLCL (also known as "Furi Kuri") may not be one of the most popular anime titles around, but it is very good. This video can be severly complex to those who have not yet seen FLCL. The plot for FLCL's bizarre production is hard to review and admittedly not for everybody. The events are surreal, and things move at a very frantic pace. Those who prefer dramatically unfolding sagas may want to look elsewhere. While FLCL is primarily hand-drawn, it is also enhanced with computer graphics thereby making it a stunning visual masterpiece. Anime and manga-style scenes are mixed together. What I tried to do with this video is somewhat bring out the darker aspect of this short OAV series into a really small fast-paced music video. The music choice was a bit of an oddball for me at first but slowly I realized how wacky both the footage and the music of System of a Down really was.
Anime Superbeasts - Rob Zombie - Superbeast Directed by: Milan Villarreal This is Milan's second music video. He sepent a great deal of time on this video as he added lipsync and several effects in order to make this video into an Awesome action packed Thiller Hope everyone enjoys this one!
Faces of Death (Uncut) - Korn - Dead Bodies Everywhere Directed by: Carlos Corral *WARNING* PLEASE NOTE : THIS VIDEO CONTAINS HIGH GRAPHIC VIOLENCE AND EPILEPTIC SITUATIONS! THIS VIDEO IS INTENDED FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY! *WARNING*
Golgo 13 - Tina Turner - GoldenEye Directed by: Carlos Corral Golgo13 is one of my favorite movies because it has a great storyline and is full of action. I somewhat thought of him as a type of James Bong character with a bit of a meanier attitude but still quite the lady charmer. The reason I made this video is because I haven't really seen a lot of Golgo13 Music Videos and I just love the movies so I decided to make this one. I figured the Best James Bond theme song that would fit it was GoldenEye. The video is great I think and really fits in with the song.
LAIN - Korn - Children of the Wired Directed by: Carlos Corral Special Effects have accerlated into Overdrive! I originally had several problems with this video but it wasn't anything I couldn't over come. My reason for making this video was simple. I'm not sure if you would consider it, but it was actually my first Horror video becasue I wanted to show how children in the Lain series influnced a place called the Wired. What I mainly focused on were the children found within the Lain series and just watching how much they evolve and later on endanger people as well as driving them mad.
Evangelion - Prank Calls - Shinji's Prank Call Directed by: Carlos Corral Directed by: Carlos Corral Ok, This is a small little joke that I was able to make in about 3 days straight for total time. I had a lot of fun doing this small little work and it was mostly made so I could practice my Lip Sync skill. My lip sync was never too good until now. I think I did an awesome job on it. Check it out! But like I said before, I don't expect too much praise form this video because it was just practice and I really had no real concept for it. I just picked something out and went along with it because I wanted to see how good my editing skills were.
Perfect Blue - Nine Inch Nails - Closer Directed by: Carlos Corral One of the most surprising and intriguing things about this Perfect Blue video is the realism of its setting. The story never breaks character or looses a grip on its own reality even for a second, and the attention to detail was downright amazing. But the realism didn't stop there; the foundation of the story is built on Mima's exit from the Pop idol scene and entrance into the TV acting world, and both of those seem wholly believable; dealing with this subject matter. The general feel and function of this video seems real, but again, the attention to minor details is what really gave it that extra edge. Small Note: This video uses similar effects which resemble that of ErMac's Closer to God Video. I was greatly inspired by his video to use these effects. So this video goes out to him =).
The Princess and the Warrior Directed by: Milan Villarreal The Princess and The Warrior is a music video that concentrates mostly on the two main characters of Princess Mononoke. The video takes some of their most thrilling scenes and turns them into a combination of story telling and excitement. This Music Video uses a Chorus song to contribute to the Mononoke atmosphere. The theme of Princess Mononke and the song, "Never Surrender" from the sound track of First Night, go well together. However, even though the main idea of the Music Video is about the Princess and the Warrior, it also contributes in telling the story of Princess Mononke and gives a mood to set for the viewer of what the whole Princess Mononoke Movie is about. I hope all anime fans will enjoy watching this video, especially all the Princess Mononoke fans. |
